peer unreachable
About this tag
The peer unreachable error in Windows typically appears when the system cannot connect to a time server to synchronize the clock. This issue often arises after dual-booting with Linux, as the two operating systems handle hardware clock settings differently. Users may see the peer unreachable message in the Date and Time settings when attempting to sync with time.windows.com. The problem is usually resolved by adjusting the Linux system to use local time for the hardware clock or by updating the Windows time service configuration. This tag covers troubleshooting steps for fixing time synchronization errors related to peer unreachable status.
Hi, i have dual booted my laptop with Windows 10 and linux. After that, my Windows time is always off and i am unable to sync with time.windows in the internet time settings. It shows period timeout at first but now it shows that the peer is unreachable. Can anyone help me?
