perimeternetwork

About this tag
The perimeternetwork tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about configuring and troubleshooting network access for servers placed on a perimeter network, also known as a DMZ. In the context of Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) firewall, users report issues such as being unable to access an FTPS server when it is moved from an internal network to the perimeter network, even after opening the required ports (e.g., FTP port 21 and passive ports). The tag focuses on firewall rules, network segmentation, and connectivity problems specific to perimeter network deployments.
