About this tag
The tag 'picture change' on WindowsForum.com covers user discussions about changing various images in Windows, primarily focusing on Windows 7. Common topics include changing the welcome screen background image, user account pictures, and login screen images. Users report issues such as the logon picture changing on its own, inability to browse for custom pictures, and the browse button not responding. Some threads also explore changing the Windows Explorer toolbar background image in classic style and using third-party tools like Stardock Login Studio for login screen customization. The discussions highlight troubleshooting steps, image format requirements (BMP, PNG, JPG), and compatibility concerns with Windows 7 versions.
How can I change the current background image for the welcome screen?
Which requirements exist for this image?
Must it be in *.BMP format or can it *.png or *.jpg as well?
Must it be exactly the site of the screen or is it (if necssary) stretched/shrinked?

Any ideas?
When I attempt to change my user account picture, nothing works. I click on pictures that I want to change to, the picture highlights, but the picture won't change. It's as if I am not double clicking on the picture at all. Any thoughts?
I don't really like Aero. I can do without all the extra bloated transparency stuff. So, I'm using the classic style. I like it, however, I want to be able to change the toolbar background image for Explorer. Windows 7 lets me change its' color and other certain aspects, but I can't specify an...
I want to change the login screen on my Windows 7 beta 1. I tried Stardock Login Studio and it does not work. How can I change the picture? Also when will WinBlings support Windows 7 Beta 1? I think Stardock should support Windows in Beta release.
