My Dell Precision 670 will not boot Windows 7 after upgrading the memory to 8GB. Configuration follows:
*BIOS A06
*2 x 4GB SIMMS in slots 1 and 2. These are correct WS670/4GB PC3200 EEC registered modules as recommended.
*memory fan is installed
*3 SCSI drives with Adaptec 7901 RAID...
