About this tag
The presets tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about predefined settings or configurations that can be applied to various Windows features and applications. Topics include saving and restoring multiple desktop layouts across monitors, quickly switching sound device settings with a single button, and using audio equalizer presets in Realtek HD Audio drivers. The tag also appears in the context of graphics benchmarks with DirectX presets in games like Stalker: Call of Pripyat, and in developer tools such as the Fluent XAML Theme Editor for Windows 10, which allows setting color theme presets. Users seek ways to create, save, and apply presets to streamline workflows and avoid manual reconfiguration.
