product experiments

The product experiments tag on WindowsForum.com collects discussion of how Microsoft tests changes with users before committing to them, especially in gaming and console services. The tagged coverage examines an Xbox job listing for a Principal Software Development Engineer on the Xbox Product Growth team, which describes improving console engagement through experiments without announcing any specific features. The thread separates what the listing actually states from speculation about future Series X|S upgrades, and it notes which console changes have already shipped or are in testing. Readers interested in how Microsoft runs product experiments and how to interpret hiring posts as signals will find the discussion useful.
