About this tag
The tag 'random dumps' on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about unexpected dump files appearing in system folders like C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports\WFP without a corresponding blue screen of death. Users report these files generated weekly, often pointing to ntoskrnl.exe in analysis tools like BlueScreenView. Troubleshooting steps include disabling GPU audio devices in Device Manager to stop the dump creation. The content focuses on identifying the cause of these silent dump files and interpreting their logs, with no mention of BSODs or other crash symptoms.
