  3. Windows 8 August update re released

    The august update has been re released (KB2975719). It looks like you should uninstall the earlier one, if you see it in your list, otherwise some minor problems have been reported. All went fine for me on a couple of laptops and a stationary it is listed as "optional" so it is your choice..

    Microsoft has released a Link Removed due to 404 Error for Windows XP. This is actually a re-release of this update, because the original version did not fully address the issue on XP.
