About this tag
Recent Places is a Windows feature that tracks recently accessed folders, appearing in File Explorer's Favorites or the taskbar jump list. Troubleshooting includes checking the Recent folder in AppData, restoring Favorites, and adjusting settings. These discussions focus on Windows 7, but similar behavior may occur in other versions.
