    Windows 7 optional updates won't install..

    any time i try to install an optional update, it just sits forever at the 'creating system restore point' until finally it kicks back out and says it failed. i'm trying to update my geforce drivers using that, since, when i try to update the drivers with nVidia's download, it says there are one...

    Windows Vista Windows Updates continually FAIL

    My last automatic update for Windows Vista was Jan 19, 08. It was a security update for Windows Vista KB941644. After that, every single update failed, and they were recommended updates. Why would an update that is recommended fail? And even if I try to install manually, it says "fail". I...
