    Windows 7 video card in 'remove hardware' manager

    anyone know how to remove my video card from the safely remove hardware manager? also does anyone know how to stop start menu notificaton of new programs? i cant find that option anywhere..... damn M$.

    Windows 7 Safely Remove Hardware - Long Lag Time

    When I want to safely remove some hardware I click on the icon located in the system tray. However it takes about 60 seconds for the option for me to remove the hardware to come up.
