reorder
About this tag
Discussions on WindowsForum.com about reorder focus on two main areas: reordering sub-windows of programs like Firefox on the taskbar, and reordering search results in Windows. Users seek methods to rename and rearrange multiple windows of a single application, often finding third-party tools like Stardock Groupy or 7+ Taskbar Tweaker ineffective. Others want to sort search results by criteria such as alphabetical order or date, as the default ordering is unclear. These threads highlight common frustrations with window management and search result customization in Windows, with users looking for practical solutions or built-in features to control ordering.
Lets say I have Firefox on the task bar, which has many sub-windows. How do I reorder and rename them?
I tried:
- stardock groupy: doesn't work and is incredibly bugged
- 7+ taskbar tweaker (set to launch at bootup, firefox doesn't run at background): same doesn't work!
Found nothing else to...
When "search" presents hundreds of results, how does one reorder them? For instance, I'd like them in alpha order, or by date. Right now I have no idea how they are default ordered.
