About this tag
The LSI MegaRAID SAS 9260-8i is a RAID controller card commonly used in enterprise servers. In Windows Server 2019, users may encounter visibility issues after swapping the card with an exact replacement, where the RAID array does not appear in Windows despite being recognized in the MegaRAID software. Troubleshooting steps include updating drivers, scanning for hardware changes, and verifying disk status in the RAID management utility. The card supports RAID configurations such as RAID 5 and RAID 6. Users also consider upgrading to newer Windows Server versions like 2022 or 2025 to resolve compatibility or driver issues.
