scan errors

  1. Windows 7 Keep from automatically wanting to scan my external USB drives when I pllug them in.

    Whenever I plug in one of my external USB drives, Windows automatically pops up a window asking me if I want to scan it for errors. Where do I change settings so that it does not automatically do this every time? Thanks
