Hello ya'll. I have uninstalled Setpoint Software with Advanced Uninstaller but of course, checking through the Registry, I do find at least one remnant of it still.
I'll post a screenshot of what I mean. I need to know if I should delete the whole folder or just the stuff within the folder...
I use a Logitech Anywhere Mx mouse with my Win 7 installation. This worked as expected with Win 8 DP as well with one minor exception. I could not install the Logitech Setpoint software. Since the mouse works appropriately with out the Setpoint SW, I do not miss it.
Logitech has released Link Removed of the SetPoint software for mice and keyboards. Changes include an updated control panel as well as various fixes and stability enhancements.

I have a couple of programs (Logitech Setpoint is one) which need to run as administrator in order to work in some apps (e.g. Visual Studio 2005). They are set to run at start-up, however since I've set them to run as administrator, they don't run (at start up - I have to start them manually)...
This combination does not work here, in previous versions of Windows 7, and Final RTM. If I close Setpoint it immediately works. I prefer to use ALchemy with some games under Windows 7 so I get less sound lag. It uses OpenAL if it doesn't find DSound.
