    Windows 7 power supply test

    Testing a atx 24 pin power supply out of the computer. Are there pins that can be shorted to turn the power supply on while its out of the computer?

    Windows 7 PC shuts down

    When I plug a USB device in my computer shut down as though something is shorting out. Also got another problem when starting some software up the screen flickers for a while. Could anyone suggest what the prblem might be. Thanks Chris
