shutdown menu
About this tag
The shutdown menu in Windows refers to the list of power options—such as Sleep, Shut Down, and Restart—accessible from the Start menu. Users have reported issues where selecting Sleep from the shutdown menu causes the computer to fail to resume properly, while automatic sleep after inactivity works fine. These issues often stem from system tweaks, third-party software, or corrupted settings. Troubleshooting steps may involve checking power settings, restoring default Start menu behavior, or using System Restore to revert unwanted changes.
