About this tag
Discussions about the space requirement for Windows Vista installations are common among users planning partitions. In one thread, a user running XP x64 on a 10 GB partition asks how much space a 64-bit Vista installation (possibly Ultimate) would need on its own partition. The question reflects a practical concern for allocating adequate disk space for the operating system, with estimates ranging from 10 GB to 15 GB or more. This tag covers queries about minimum and recommended storage for Windows Vista, helping users plan their drive layouts.
