Windows 7 DIY Speaker Volume Control Repair: Seeking Advice on Potentiometer Replacement Solutions

Windows 7 My internal speakers
The cord to my external speakers was broken off into the jack of my computer, So i know my external sound is screwed. I wondering if there was a way i can get my internal sound back. I really would appreciate it. :D- sanii
