speaker test
About this tag
The speaker test tag on WindowsForum.com covers issues where the Windows speaker configuration test plays sound through all speakers in a 5.1 setup, but actual applications like media players, games, and system sounds only output from two speakers. Common themes include Realtek High Definition Audio drivers, Logitech speakers, and fresh Windows 7 installations. Users seek help getting surround sound to work consistently outside the test panel.
