I posted here before, or rather at the former iteration of the Windows Forum, about how I wanted to replace the sound card with a digital receiver and some regular bookshelf speakers, because I found the Klipsch Pro-Media powered speaker systems ( I have both the 2.1 and the 4.1...

  2. Windows 7 DIY Speaker Volume Control Repair: Seeking Advice on Potentiometer Replacement Solutions

    I have a pair of speakers like these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001RNOHDU/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER On which the power/volume control on the right side of the primary speaker no longer works...that is that it no longer works for volume, but still works...
