The spend limits tag on WindowsForum.com currently centers on a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central roadmap item for the Expense Agent. The planned feature would let finance teams configure spending thresholds by time period and apply them to individual employees, teams, or the entire company. Over-limit expenses could be blocked or flagged, with feedback shown to employees as they enter expenses. Microsoft lists the item as in development, with a preview targeted for January 2027 and general availability for April 2027 in the web client for worldwide multi-tenant clouds. Those dates are estimates and subject to change.
