steam mods

The steam mods tag on WindowsForum.com collects discussion of community-made patches and fixes for games distributed through Steam on Windows. A representative example is FF13NovaFix, an unofficial Direct3D 9 replacement component that addresses long-standing high-refresh-rate, controller, display-scaling, and stability problems in the Steam versions of Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. Coverage notes that such patches are community efforts rather than official Square Enix updates, and that version support can be limited to specific Steam builds rather than Microsoft Store releases. Expect practical troubleshooting detail, compatibility caveats, and Windows gaming context.
