The sudden shutdown tag on WindowsForum.com covers user reports of unexpected power loss events in Windows 11, particularly version 25H2. Discussions describe shutdowns that occur without warning, resembling a power cut, and often result in the system resuming to the previous session upon restart. Some users also note that normal shutdowns trigger a standby mode message. Troubleshooting topics include checking power settings, hardware connections, and system logs to identify causes such as driver conflicts, overheating, or power supply issues. The tag serves as a resource for diagnosing and resolving abrupt system shutdowns in Windows environments.

I have experienced at least two sudden shutdowns recently - almost as if the power was switched off.
Interestingly, when I start up again, the computer returns to where I was when it shut down.
When I shut down the computer normally, I get a "going into standby mode" although I haven't set it...
