Can anyone please help me.
I have a Windows 7 Home Edition 64 bit operating system and I am experiencing unexpected shutdowns of the system.
This tends to occur mainly when doing a virus check or doing a back up using some software called SyncBackSE.
I have tried looking at the event log but...

Hi:
I run the backup program, SyncBackSE which among other things backs up files on a thumbdrive. SyncBackSE has been configured to see the thumbdrive as F: but occasionally Windows decides to name it G: and SyncBackSE then fails. Is there a way to tell Windows to lock it to F:? Thanks.

I've problem in doing a copy of large files (ISO image of 4 Gbytes) to/form external USB drives.
I've tried two different disks with the same result. After copying 2 Gbytes the system freezes and I have to power cycle.
