Restoring Domain Controller
I had to do a fresh install of a domain controller with no system state or backups, but I do have the old SYSVOL folder. Can I copy that to the new install and restore the previous domain?- lawsonlee

System State Restore of Active Directory
The system backup was created on a physical server 2016 Standard, version 1607. The restore is being done on a hyper v vm windows server 2016 standard, version 1607. The restore completed successfully but when i restart the vm it is not booting.- nixx1401

Windows 8 WIndows 8 File History
Does file history also create a restore point? It was nice to have that restore point to where is you blue screened you could reboot and restore to a recent, previous system state. Doesn't really say anything in the file history settings page, and I'm curious. Thanks for any insight...- PdxRealtor
