target folder
About this tag
The tag 'target folder' on WindowsForum.com covers issues related to Windows file management where the expected target folder is not reached or behaves unexpectedly. Discussions include problems where 'Open file location' or 'Save image as' opens the Desktop folder instead of the intended target folder, affecting user workflow. Another topic involves copying symbolic links (symlinks) between Windows 10 PCs with different drive letters and folder structures, where the symlinks point to a target folder of mp4 files. Users seek solutions to preserve symlink functionality when the target folder's path changes due to different drive mappings. These threads focus on troubleshooting folder navigation and symlink behavior in Windows environments.
