About this tag
The tenda u18 tag on WindowsForum.com collects discussion of Tenda's U18 v3.0, an AX1800 dual-band USB Wi-Fi 6 adapter marketed as a low-cost way to add wireless connectivity to older desktops or replace a tired Wi-Fi 5 card. Coverage focuses on practical setup rather than marketing claims, including plug-in installation on Windows 10 and 11, using the adapter to share a PC connection as a hotspot, and the Linux driver caveats that complicate cross-platform use. A conflicting speed figure reported for the hardware is also examined, making the tag useful for readers weighing the adapter's real-world value against its headline specifications.
