About this tag
The test user tag on WindowsForum.com covers issues related to user accounts created for testing purposes in Windows environments. A recurring theme involves problems with Windows app provisioning, where apps removed from an administrator account reappear when logging in as a test user. This typically occurs during Windows image creation and deployment, such as when using audit mode and sysprep. Discussions focus on why uninstalled apps return for test users and how to permanently remove them from provisioned packages. The tag is relevant for IT professionals and system administrators managing Windows 10/11 deployments and user account configurations.
