About this tag
Discussions tagged with 'track display' on WindowsForum.com focus on issues where Windows Media Player or Media Center fails to show the correct track information when browsing or playing music files. Common problems include album art and track metadata not displaying properly, especially when accessing music libraries across a homegroup network or after copying music folders. Users report that tracks appear as sample songs or show incorrect details, even after removing default Windows sample music. These threads typically involve troubleshooting steps for Windows 7 Home Premium and other editions, with an emphasis on resolving display errors in the media library interface.
