typo

About this tag
The typo tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about spelling or grammatical mistakes found in software interfaces, email communications, and forum posts. One thread highlights a typo in Windows Defender Security Centre, where 'unauthorised changed' appears instead of 'unauthorised changes'. Another thread analyzes a phishing email pretending to be from PayPal, noting typos and grammatical errors as red flags. A third thread requests a forum feature to edit thread titles after a typo was made. These examples show how typos can affect user experience, security awareness, and community interactions.
