About this tag
The ugreen nas tag on WindowsForum.com collects discussion of UGREEN's NASync hardware, particularly the DXP4800 Pro, and how it compares with established NAS platforms. The recurring theme is that UGREEN's boxes are built more like compact servers than traditional appliance NAS units, with Intel Core i3-1315U processing, DDR5 memory, and combined 10GbE and 2.5GbE networking giving headroom for containers, virtual machines, and high-throughput storage work. Threads also stress that moving from Synology to UGREEN is a hardware upgrade rather than a drop-in replacement, so compatibility, software, and migration details matter before switching.
