About this tag
The Ultrastar tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about Hitachi Ultrastar hard drives, particularly the 3TB Hitachi UltraStar 7K3000 model. Users report issues with Windows 10 misidentifying the HDD as an SSD, causing slow system performance and problems with disk defragmentation tools. The tag also includes troubleshooting for Windows 7 where Ultrastar software (a karaoke game) runs slowly, consuming high CPU usage, with no improvement from processor affinity or compatibility settings. These threads focus on hardware recognition, driver or system configuration issues, and performance optimization for both storage devices and software applications.

My 850 evo has to go back to samsung so they told me to clone the c: onto D: then change boot order.
Perfect sense, same as always so I do so and now not...
