unreadable
About this tag
The tag 'unreadable' on WindowsForum.com covers issues where Windows displays garbled text, hieroglyphics, or error messages indicating that files or directories are corrupt and unreadable. Common scenarios include system boot failures with messages like 'The file or directory C:\Boot is corrupt and unreadable,' disk structure corruption errors when loading programs, and display problems where computer language appears as strange symbols. These issues often occur in Windows 7 and may require running CHKDSK, repairing the boot configuration, or checking disk health. The tag also includes references to Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC) displaying unreadable text in error messages. Troubleshooting typically involves disk utilities and system repair tools.
