I am trying to install Windows 8 Release Preview. I made a bootable USB key from the iso file using the MS tool for the job, as I've done a bunch of times in the past for both Windows 8 and Windows 7.
On booting from the USB key, the "Windows" title comes up for a minute, and then the screen...

So yes it was very stupid to not write the key down but i quick formatted my usb key with the bitlocker key on it and i cant seem to find it using recovery software.
I have used recuvra, recover my files, and pc file inspector and i still cant find it....

I have encrypted my drives and made a usb key. This works great but thought I need to duplicate the key - just in case...
When I go into "manage bitlocker" I put in another USB stick and click "duplicate the startup key"...
