About this tag
This tag covers discussions about whether Windows 10 performs automatic updates when no user is logged in, specifically at the login or welcome screen. The tagged content explores if update processes like searching, downloading, and installing are user-independent or require a user session. It also addresses whether Windows 10 restricts automatic updates when running on battery power, similar to Android's behavior with app updates. The thread seeks clarification on these behaviors to understand system update policies in different states.
