About this tag
VMDK is a virtual disk file format used by VMware virtualization products, including VMware Workstation and VirtualBox. Discussions on WindowsForum.com cover converting VMDK files to other formats like VHDX for use with Hyper-V, as well as creating VMDK files using tools like EasyVMX. The format is also relevant in the context of virtual desktop infrastructure and application delivery solutions such as Omnissa App Volumes. Users often seek guidance on converting VMDK to VHDX, especially after the discontinuation of tools like MVMC. Understanding VMDK is essential for managing virtual machines across different hypervisors and platforms.

Hi
I am trying to convert one of my VM in VMware Workstation (.VMDK) to Hyper-V (.VHDX) In lot of forums it says to use MVMC. Unfortunately, MVMC not available to download and there's no alternative tool to convert VMDK to VHDX.
Can anyone please advise.
TIA
