waterfox

About this tag
Waterfox is a Firefox-based browser that prioritizes privacy and offers a 64-bit version for Windows users. Discussions on WindowsForum.com cover its compatibility with 32-bit Windows 7, with conflicting reports on whether it runs on that platform. Users have explored Waterfox as a privacy-focused alternative to Chrome and Chromium-based browsers, noting its bug-free performance in early 64-bit builds. Some threads also mention Waterfox in the context of customizing executable icons, as users encountered issues when trying to change its icon via shortcuts. Overall, Waterfox is discussed as a niche browser for those seeking to de-Google their browsing experience, though compatibility concerns with older Windows versions remain a topic of debate.

Windows 7 Waterfox browser for Win 7 Home Premium 32-bit?

Anyone know for sure? I'd rather not clutter the registry by downloading a useless app I have to uninstall.
