About this tag
Discussions tagged with 'web address' on WindowsForum.com focus on issues related to entering or managing URLs in Windows browsers, particularly Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer. Users report problems such as browsers failing to find pages, printing garbled characters when typing a web address, and forced upgrades to Edge. Another common theme involves a persistent proxy configuration script address (http://127.0.0.1:8080/proxy.pac) that cannot be removed from LAN settings, often linked to suspected malware.
