About this tag
Discussions about Wild Tangent on WindowsForum.com focus on its presence as preloaded software on new HP computers and as a source of downloadable games. Users report difficulty fully removing Wild Tangent and its associated game entries from the Windows 'all apps' list, even after uninstalling through Control Panel, deleting program files, and editing the registry. Others note that Windows 7 does not include classic games like Solitaire and Hearts by default, instead offering Wild Tangent downloads. There are also reports of Wild Tangent browser plugins causing security warnings and crashes in Internet Explorer, with users frustrated by Microsoft's security restrictions interfering with plugin functionality.
