About this tag
This tag covers issues where Windows fails to boot on a dual-boot system, often after changes like volume labels or disk partitions. Users typically encounter automatic booting to other volumes or operating systems instead of Windows. Common troubleshooting involves using diskpart to list volumes and adjust boot configuration. The tag includes scenarios with Linux dual-boot setups, such as Parrot OS, where Windows boot entries may be missing or misconfigured. Solutions often require repairing the Windows bootloader or adjusting UEFI/BIOS settings. The content focuses on practical steps to restore Windows boot functionality without affecting the other OS.
