witness volume

About this tag
The witness volume is a critical component in Windows Server failover clusters, used to maintain quorum and prevent split-brain scenarios. Discussions on WindowsForum.com cover moving a failover cluster from one host to another, where users encounter challenges with the witness volume remaining on the original server after live migrating virtual machines and volumes. Troubleshooting focuses on forcing the witness volume to relocate to the new host to ensure cluster functionality. Topics include cluster migration steps, quorum configuration, and storage management in Windows Server environments.

Moving failover cluster from one host to another.

Hi. How to forse to move failover cluster from one host to another. I live migrate virtual machines, volumes from second server to first server, but failover cluster and Witness volume is still on second server. How to force to move it to first server host?
