About this tag
The Linksys WMP300N is a wireless PCI adapter that has been discussed in WindowsForum threads primarily in the context of Windows 7, especially 64-bit editions. Users report performance issues and driver problems, particularly after automatic Broadcom driver updates that can break wireless connectivity. The card is noted for having limited 64-bit driver support, leading some users to seek alternative wireless NICs with native 64-bit drivers for better reliability. Troubleshooting steps often involve rolling back drivers or finding compatible driver versions.
My Dell XPS desktop computer is two weeks old. Win 7 works great.
When I got the computer, the first thing I did was to install Linksys wmp300N wireless adaptor on PCI slot.
Installation of its driver was followed. Since then, the wireless internet connecxtion has been working great so far...
As the title says, whats your win7 64bit wireless card, how is performance.
Me
Linksys wmp300n - Performance - Not so good. (has to do with 64bit im assuming)
Im currently using a Linksys wmp300n, and performance on win7 64bit is sketchy at best, the card in general has little to no 64bit support, ive scourged the web for the best solution I can for now, and while it works, im not happy overall.
Everything else works flawless, even in this beta...
