wpaevent
About this tag
The wpaevent tag on WindowsForum.com is used in discussions about Windows product activation, particularly for older versions like Windows XP. In one thread, a user unable to find their product key for an offline XP installation attempted to locate the WPAEvent registry key, which is associated with Windows Product Activation (WPA). The absence of this key in the registry indicates that activation may not have been completed or the system is not properly configured. This tag is relevant for troubleshooting activation issues, locating product keys, and understanding the WPA mechanism in legacy Windows systems.
I'm trying to install xp on an old computer we don't use very much. I can't find the product key. Currently i can't connect to the internet. I tried the UNATTENDED file but that code didn't work. I tried the regedit path but there was no WPAEvent listed. Any ideas?
