About this tag
Discussions about x64 build 7077, a pre-release version of Windows, often involve confusion over its expiration date. Users have reported discrepancies between tools like SIW and Windows' own winver command, with one showing an expiry in March 2010 and another in June 2010. The build may also appear as permanently activated via slmgr, adding to the uncertainty. While the exact expiration date may be moot before a release candidate arrives, these inconsistencies highlight how different system utilities can report conflicting information for the same build.

Windows 7 Expiry Date - SIW or MS WINVER -- Who's correct.
Hi all I have a little point of confusion with SIW and Winver for X-64 build 7077. SIW reports expiry date as 6 June 2010 Winver reports expiration date as Mar 2nd 2010. Who'se telling the truth and who'se the "Big fibber". slmgr report as "Permanently activated" so that's no good as a 3rd...- jimbo45
