About this tag
The xbox sales tag on WindowsForum.com collects discussion of Xbox console shipment and installed-base figures, including comparisons across console generations. A recent thread examines estimated lifetime totals for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and original Xbox, and notes which numbers are official versus estimated. It also considers how an announced next-generation Xbox and a distant launch window affect how the Xbox 360 record is read. Coverage is conversational and analytical rather than a sales database, so expect forum commentary on hardware generations, market position, and the reliability of reported figures.
