About this tag
Discussions about Xillisoft software on WindowsForum.com focus on two main issues: residual problems after uninstalling Xillisoft Video Converter, and compatibility problems with H.264 codecs used by Xillisoft DVD Ripper in Windows 7 Media Player and Media Center. Users report that even after uninstalling Xillisoft Video Converter, leftover components continue to cause issues. Additionally, videos ripped with Xillisoft DVD Ripper using the H.264 codec often fail to play correctly in Windows 7's default media players, displaying a black screen or no sound, while they work fine in third-party players like VLC. These threads seek troubleshooting help for removing Xillisoft remnants and fixing codec playback in Windows.
