About this tag
The xp media center tag covers discussions about Windows XP Media Center Edition, including its use in home theater PCs, compatibility with Windows 7 Media Center, and issues when upgrading from XP Media Center to newer Windows versions. Topics include playing WMP visualizations in Media Center, file and printer sharing between XP Media Center and Windows 7 Starter, screen resolution problems after upgrading, and difficulties playing archived TV shows recorded in XP Media Center on Windows 7. The tag reflects user experiences with XP Media Center in mixed-OS environments and transition challenges.
