hi all i own a alienware area51 2.93ghz intel core 2 extreme x6800 any way over the last 3/4 days pc been crashing random blue screen todays being 0x0000124 it will not do the memory dump in the blue screen it will just freeze on it next time the pc boots up it is very slow and have to reboot to get normal speed back again some some info from event manager
A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the Windows Error Reporting Service service to connect.

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly

Some processor performance power management features have been disabled due to a known firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.

im at a loss and dont no how to fix the last one

p.s checked alienware site everything is up to date

STOP 0x124 errors are mostly hardware problems (but can be due to a few different driver issues).

To start, blow out all the vents with canned air (DO NOT use an air compressor or vacuum as they can cause damage to to your system). Only use the laptop on a hard surface - and I also recommend using a laptop cooler to ensure that the system is getting adequate cooling airflow.

The "firmware" issue is most likely a BIOS update. Have you checked those?

Please provide this info so we can have a deeper look at the issues you're experiencing: http://windows7forums.com/blue-screen-death-bsod/38837-how-ask-help-bsod-problem.html
