100HZ on windows 7 build 7048?

#1
Hello all , i have a 8800GTS and a COMPAQ P1100 21' monitor (supports 100HZ on 1280x1024 and 75HZ on 1920x1440 - win vista/xp) but on windows 7 build 7048 the maximum refresh rate on every resolution(even 640x480) is 85HZ , what can i do to make my monitor run in 100hz like it runs on vista/xp?
I've installed the monitor drivers but no changes, i even tried different monitor drivers like dell1100 and others but still no change :(

First, I would download the official RC from Microsoft.

Was this an upgrade or a "clean" install?

Check your driver version and follow this link for the 32-bit Windows 7 driver.

If you're using 64-bit, backup one page and choose that.
